E-Way bill system is for GST registered person / enrolled transporter for generating the way bill (a document to be carried by the person in charge of conveyance) electronically on commencement of movement of goods exceeding the value of Rs. 50,000 in relation to supply or for reasons other than supply or due to inward supply from an unregistered person.
The e-Invoice System is for GST registered person for uploading all the B2B invoices to the Invoice Registration Portal (IRP). The IRP generates and returns a unique Invoice Reference Number (IRN), digitally signed e-invoice and QR code to the user.
Any registered person availing the option to supply goods or services for export /SEZs without payment of integrated tax has to furnish, prior to export/SEZs supply, a Letter of Undertaking (LUT), if he has not been prosecuted for tax evasion for an amount of Rs 2.5 Crore or above under the CGST Act/IGST Act/Existing law. Example of transactions for which LUT can be used are:
Zero rated supply to SEZ without payment of IGST.
Export of goods to a country outside India without payment of IGST.
Providing services to a client in a country outside India without payment of IGST.
A GST Return is a legal document persisting GST invoices, receipts, payments, etc., of a certain period. It is a collection of all the details of income, sales, expenses, and purchases of a GST-registered taxpayer.
Input Tax Credit' or 'ITC' means the Goods and Services Tax (GST) paid by a taxable person on any purchase of goods and/or services that are used or will be used for business. ITC value can be reduced from the GST payable on the sales by the taxable person only after fulfilling some conditions.
